Largest waterfall in Europe

Dettifoss waterfall
Dettifoss and me admiring the view.

Dettifoss is a waterfall in Iceland that is known as the most powerful waterfall in Europe. It means that its average discharge (193 cubic meters per second) numbers are above all others. Dettifoss surely is a magnificent sight but I strongly recommend to go and see Selfoss also. It is a couple of kilometers farther away (upstream) from the car park but it is worth to take a look. I liked it more than Dettifoss for several reasons but more about that in the future.
